Service Description
Welcome to your Private Audition for Kyle Kahn Studiosβ Competitive Dance Company! We are thrilled to see your dancer step onto the floor and showcase their talent. π¬ WHAT TO EXPECT Your dancer will complete an abbreviated version of our main studio auditions based on their specific style of interest: * KKDC (Jazz/Contemporary/Musical Theatre Company): Includes technical progressions (jazz walks, turn sequences, high-kicks, and leaps) and learning/performing a 4β8 count jazz combination. Optional time for tumbling or specialty tricks will be provided at the end. * iKAHNic (Hip Hop Crew): Begins with quick athletic conditioning exercises followed by learning/performing a 4β8 count heavy hip hop combination. Optional time for breakdancing, tumbling, or tricks will be provided at the end. π DRESS CODE: LOOK THE PART Dancers must arrive fully dressed and ready to perform in the appropriate attire. KKDC Jazz: * Female Dancers: Secure bun or ponytail. Sports bra, leotard, or tight tank top with high-waisted shorts or jazz pants. Skin-tone tights are required. Footwear: Stretch Jazz Boots. * Male Dancers: Hair away from face. Solid-colored fitted T-shirt with black leggings/tights or athletic wear. Footwear: Stretch Jazz Boots. iKAHNic Hip Hop Track: * Female Dancers: Secure bun or ponytail. Fitted athletic clothing (no denim or cheer shorts). Tights are required if wearing short shorts. Footwear: Sneakers. * Male Dancers: Hair away from face (hats are allowed). Fitted athletic clothing (no denim or cheer shorts). Footwear: Sneakers. π AFTER THE AUDITION * Notification Timeline: Please expect an official status update via text message within 3 to 5 business days. * Deliberation: Our directors take great care in evaluating placement. Please respect our professional process and refrain from contacting the studio regarding your dancer's status before the 5-day evaluation window has concluded. * Cost: $69 * Who should attend: The dancer (ready to perform) and at least one parent/guardian.
Cancellation Policy
Accident/Liability Waiver Required by all Non-KKS Members before services begin. Teacher/Faculty β’ Private lessons are booked with KKS teachers/faculty that are currently on staff at Kyle Kahn Studios. β’ Non KKS Staff wishing to do lessons should be booked under KKS Studio Rentals. FULL PAYMENT REQUIRED 1οΈβ£ NEW ZELLE PAY- No Processing Fee or Tax - to KKS 678-764-3909. Include βinvoice numberβ on memo line. Pay amount listed under "Subtotal". 2οΈβ£ CREDIT/DEBIT CARD - Click PayLink to complete Subject to processing fee & tax. Pay amount listed under "Total" 3οΈβ£ CASH/CHECK - No Processing Fee or Tax - to βKyle Kahn Studiosβ & placed in the KKS DROPBOX. CASH PAYMENTS NOT ACCEPTED THE DAY OF SERVICE. βΌοΈServices automatically cancelled if payment isnβt completed within 3 business days of booking approval. No refunds or credit for any reason.βΌοΈ CANCELLATION POLICY β’ Minimum 48hr notice of cancellation to qualify for booking reschedule. β’ Rescheduling not available within 48hrs of booking. β’ If the booking was made with less than 48 hrs between your booking request and the requested booking, rescheduling is not offered. β’ Cancellations/Rescheduling can only be done by texting KKS at 678-764-3909 or the Private Lesson Conversation Window with your instructor. β’ We DO NOT accept cancellations/rescheduling by email or voicemail. β’ Rescheduling a booking is subject to availability. LATE ARRIVALS β’ Communicate via 678-764-3909 or the Private Lesson Conversation Window if you feel you may be late. β’ More than 10mins late without notification will be treated as a No Call, No Show. β’ Late arrival bookings will be modified to fit the remaining time booked. You will not be allowed to go over your time booked. EXAMPLE -The lesson is schedule from 4:30pm-5:00pm & you arrive at 4:45pm. The lesson will still conclude at 5:00pm. β’ Rescheduling not available. A new booking must be requested & full payment required. NO CALL/NO SHOW β’ Rescheduling is not available. GUARDIAN/GUEST VIEWING β’ We politely ask persons NOT to sit in on the private lessons without the teacherβs permission. β’ Conversation between parent & teacher can take away from lesson time. β’ We always suggest arriving 10 mins early for all private lessons to be ready to go on time. β’ Filming of private lessons is strictly prohibited unless permission from the teacher is obtained.
